Biography

I was born in OKC, OK and I attended Putnam City Schools. The university I attended for my undergraduate degree was Southern Nazarene University. I actually started my degree while completing high school. I got my teaching certificate after graduation, and while teaching, I met my wonderful husband, Ben. He is an art teacher. We’ve been married for over 21 years now. Our wedding was at SNU! We married in the old chapel that was on campus, across from the library. We have one adult son and two fur babies and live in Bethany. I have two Bachelor Degrees and two Master Degrees, and I plan to enter into a doctoral program soon. I was the first person in my family to graduate from a university. I hope it inspired my younger relatives to do the same. I tell them they can do anything. Through God, we can do anything.
